Fuel
Filtration - Biodiesel
The 300RC
Series filters are designed to help heat Biodiesel blends and summer
diesel for use in
cold weather. They feature a unitized mounting head
with a highly efficient heat exchanger. Hot engine coolant is used to
raise the fuel temperature up to 60 deg. F. Coolant flow is controlled with
customer supplied shut-off valves. A standard electric heater helps
pre-heat the fuel before engine coolant reaches operating temperature.
All filter materials and seals are compatible with ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel and B2 to B20 Biodiesel. Features and benefits
include two stage filtration using engineered Aquabloc II media (known
around the world for its combination of high efficiency, long life,
and unsurpassed water removal performance), a clear bowl for water and
particle detected, up to 60 deg. F fuel heat rise, standard electric
pre-heater, optional water-in-fuel sensor, and vacuum indicators to
signal filter restriction. The 300RC series comes in three flow rates:
390RC (90 GPH), 360RC (60 GPH), and 345RC (45 GPH).
Fuel
Filtration - Filter Pumps
The Turbine
Series Electric Primer Pump Kits can be retrofitted to many of the
Racor 900FH or 1000FH Series fuel filters already in service. The
Filter Pump is an innovative and proprietary system consisting of a
pre-screen filter, a flow bypass circuit and a roller cell pump
powered by a DC motor. When the switch is activated the fuel is drawn
into the pre-screen and then is pumped through the housing, refilling
the unit with fuel. When not in use the Filter Pump system is bypassed
and the Racor fuel filter water separator functions normally. The use
of this primer pump kit allows the operator to easily re-prime a Racor
Filter/Separator directly from the fuel storage tank with no mess.
The RKP1912,
12V DC Kit, contains a traditional brushed motor design.
The RKP1924, 24V DC Kit, contains innovative brushless motor
technology.
Marine Fuel
Filtration
When engines
demand heavy-duty, high-capacity water separation and fuel filtration,
the Marine Turbine Series is the most complete, efficient and reliable
engine protection you can install.
Symbolizing
Racors continuing commitment to the science of filtration, the Marine
Turbine Series has established its position as the filter/separator
often imitated, but never equaled.
Models that
include an aluminum bowl or stainless steel shield meet ASTM FS1201
certification, are UL listed, American Bureau of Shipping, Veritas,
Det Norske Veritas, ISO 10088 and U.S.C.G. accepted. For severe
service, all-metal bowls should be specified.
