Hydrocarbon

From the Refinery to the Nozzle

Over the last 38 years, Parkers Racor Division has become the most trusted name in the  engine, mobile, marine and stationary fuel filtration and water separation industries. Racor now has standard products available to filter virtually any fuel at any flow rate and can configure systems to meet customers requirements for application, environment and other specific parameters. State-of-the-art, advanced technology fuel filtration laboratories are currently located in North America and Europe. A separate, dedicated 2,500 GPM API/EI (IP) engineering test facility is located in the United States and future laboratories are planned for Asia and South America.

Racor has utilized its long-time experience in the fuel supply industry to produce the most    advanced aviation fuel API/EI (IP) 1581-qualified filter/water separators, 1590-qualified microfilters and EI 1583-qualified monitors. Qualified vessels and a wide range of industry standard interchangeable products round out Racors hydrocarbon fuel filtration product offering.

Crankcase

New CCV8000 Series and CCV12000 Series Conversion Kits

The Racor CCV8000 Series and CCV12000 Series conversion kits are designed for applications where longer filter life is desired. The New 8000 series to 12000 series conversion kits include a new 12000 series can, a new 12000 series element and a spacer pad for reduced vibration. The components increase the overall height of the CCV form 12" to 16". This allows for 60% additional filter capacity.

The additional media will aid in achieving improved efficiency and service intervals by slowing down the air which allows for improved coalescing of oil from the crankcase gases. The filter element does not contain any metal parts so it is crushable, incinerable and a cost effective environmentally friendly choice.

The new CCV8000 Series and CCV12000 Series conversion kits are available with two different media's, the CCV55613-08 and CCV55613-10. The CCV55613-08 is our Standard High Efficiency Filter. The CCV55316-10 is our new Ultra Efficiency.

Racor's New Generation of Top Load Oil Filtration

The Racor Top Load oil filtration module is designed to incorporate many components and functions in one assembly. The Top Load filters meet the requirements of today's oil controlled, high pressure diesel engines. The Racor media meets the demanding requirements for variable geometry turbochargers and high pressure oil operated fuel injection equipment.

The uncompromising high level of fluid cleanliness is needed to achieve operating efficiency and reach longer oil drain intervals. The oil filter element does not contain any metal parts so it is crushable, incinerable and a cost effective environmentally friendly choice.

Filter service is from the top of the engine, with minimal skin contact to the contaminated oil due to the screw cap and filter element attachment. The oil filter module is customized with a patented automatic drain valve that allows the oil in the housing to drain back into the sump as the screw cap is removed to service the element. This important function assures all of the dirty oil is drained into the sump for complete waste oil removal.

The Top Load oil conditioning module is a prime example of value added Racor engineering that tailors a filtration system to a specific engine working in a broad range of environments.
