We offer industrial quality filter housings made with heavy gauge stainless steel. These vessels are rated for pressures up to 150 psi and temperatures up to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C), depending on the filter cartridge used. Clamp and swing-bolt closure available. These vessels contain absolutely no plastic components, making them suitable for high temperatures. Buna-N gasket comes standard. Other options are available for these units.

Melt Blown Polypropylene Cartridges

These spun polypropylene filter elements are manufactured for use with aggressive chemicals and other filtration requirements when depth filtration is required. We offer these elements in a wide range of lengths and micron ratings.

Pleated Cellulose Cartridges

These filters come in only one size and micron rating. 2.5" OD X 9-3/4" length. 20 micron rated. These filters are available for a variety of purposes including sediment, carbon block, phosphate block, acid neutralizer, lead reduction, and water softening.

Pleated Polypropylene Filter Elements For Critical Filtration

Carter Chambers Filtration Group offers a complete line of pleated polypropylene filter elements for a wide range of applications. These elements are made entirely of polypropylene, including the filter media, center tubes, and support materials. these elements are fusion-bonded, this process eliminates adhesives which can potentially leach. These elements are absolute rated and surpass 99.9% efficiency at the stated micron rating. We offer many different end cap configurations based on your needs, including double-open-end, fin, 222 and 226 elements with o-ring seals (2-1/2" OD). These filters can handle fluid temperatures up to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C).

These elements are ideal for taste, odor, chlorine, and organic chemical removal. We offer a wide line of elements available in a variety of sizes, micron ratings, and capabilities. Solid block design eliminates channeling, fluidizing, by-pass, or release of carbon fines. Specialty filters are available to remove lead, cysts, and E. coli. KX brand elements can withstand temperatures up to 125 degrees F (52 degrees C) and pressures up to 100 psi.
